  • What happens when I give to Venture?

    Venture Christian Church is dedicated to stewarding every gift in a way that advances ministry. In addition to supporting what happens on our campus, we invest in both local and global mission partners to help expand God’s Kingdom in our community and beyond. Our annual budget is reviewed and affirmed by the congregation. Financial oversight is provided by our Elders and Finance Team, and an independent financial review is completed each year and available upon request.


  • What is a tithe and why does it matter?

    The term tithe means “one-tenth.” Tithing is rooted in some of the earliest biblical expressions of worship and generosity and is affirmed by Jesus in the New Testament as a meaningful practice for His followers.

  • How can I give to Venture?

    There are several convenient ways to give:

    • Visit venturechristian.church/give or use the Give tab in our app [LINK].
    • Place a gift in the offering box located in the auditorium
    • Mail a check to: 14501 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033
    • Reach out to our Executive Pastor, Daniel Shelton, to explore additional giving options.
  • What forms of payment are accepted?
    • Credit and debit card giving is available through our electronic giving partner, Pushpay.
    • Bank ACH transfers (checking or savings) are also supported through Pushpay.
    • Checks may be placed in the offering boxes or mailed to: 14501 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel IN 46033
    • Cash gifts may be placed in the offering boxes in the auditorium.
  • What is the most cost-effective way to give?

    Setting up a recurring ACH contribution from a checking or savings account is the most economical option, as it carries only a minimal processing fee regardless of gift size.

  • What if I want to give in a different way?

    Many at Venture choose to give through non-cash methods such as stocks, property, Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), cryptocurrency, and other options. If you’re interested in one of these approaches, we’d be happy to help—please contact Daniel Shelton for guidance.

  • Can I automate my giving?

    Yes. Scheduled and recurring giving is available through Pushpay, and we encourage you to choose the setup that best fits your preferences.

  • Can I designate my gift for a specific ministry or project?

    With a few special exceptions throughout the year, we simplify our approach by directing gifts into a single general fund. Memorial gifts in honor of a loved one may be designated accordingly.

  • How do I access my giving records?

    Giving statements are sent twice each year, but we are always glad to provide records upon request. You can also review these when logged in to your Pushpay account. For assistance, please contact Daniel Shelton.
